Hello, and welcome to our new blog! The Elemental team has been hard at work the past few months developing the new site, and we’re very excited for everyone to experience all of our latest creations. As Broadcast Director of our company, I thought it would be appropriate to make my first post a showcase of the Elemental Studio Space. I’ve worked in a few large office buildings during my career in television, yet most of the time I was working in a small dark room with no windows and dim lighting, left only to hear the sound of hard drive fans and the buzz of computer monitors. I was expected to come up with original ideas, design concepts, and artwork that people have never seen before. I used to have a name for this: “The Little Magic Room” where a designer would go in, and a few hours later… SHAZAM! An unbelievable product would emerge!
I always said to myself, “When I own my own company, it will be different.”
Our 1,200 sq ft open concept inspires creativity and communication. We’ve torn down the walls of the traditional “cubical” office concept, and created an environment where collaboration is effortless. I love coming into our office every morning. We have an entertainment centre where we can play music, show completed projects to clients or share inspiring motion graphics and design with each other. There’s also a central area where we can meet casually and comfortably for creative meetings.
