Twitter = Inspiration

If you’ve dealt with social media on any level, you know that Twitter can be an integral part of the online success of many business’ and campaigns. Whether a business wants to build awareness of their brand, create a dialogue with their audience or simply to keep up to date with different tools for social networking; Twitter is a valuable asset in building a reputation in the online community.

But some things can go overlooked when Twitter is thought of solely as a way to get your business or brand noticed. Its important to remember that at its core, Twitter is a community. It allows people from various professions and backgrounds to share a wealth of information.

For me, the most appealing part of Twitter is the ability to share inspiration. Lets face it, spring feels like its never going to arrive, and gloomy weather most often hinders creativity. So, having a resource at my fingertips to explore links or projects from designers around the world can be pretty handy!

Here are a few of my favourite Tweeters to find inspiration from: @bkmacdaddy, @ExploreMusic, @designsponge, @TMNinja. Feel free to check them out. You’ll probably notice that not all of them have to do with the motion graphic or advertising industry. But that is part of the beauty of inspiration; it transcends industries, interests and cultures.
